i Hated the orginal by Rihanna
first heard and watch it on tv
didn't get the song.. something about sharing umbrellas
abit like a lesbian song for a girl named Ella.
ella... eh.. eh.. eh.. EH studdup can. (haha)
Then I noticed various covers of this song.
Kanye West, Mcfly, Ross Copperman, Mandy Moore, even Youtuber Marie Digby became famous overnight after posting her acoustic rendition of the same song.
The success of the song is really due to the lyrics.
With Rihanna's sex sells image... (loud buzzer)
and the cabaret dancing with an umbrella...
please tell me there's no pun intended.
