Oh man...
Heard I missed one of the Best SOT lesson today.
Left office earlier last night to see a doc.
But thank God am feeling much better now after plenty of rest and medicine.
Had a nice chat with grandma this afternoon,
our last chat was when i got back from indonesia...
didn't realised how busy i've been,
that even though we live under the same roof,
we hardly have the chance to talk.
On normal days, she'll be asleep when i reach home
and still asleep when i leave for school.
She's doing ok now since her discharge from the rehab.
We talked about cats, about indonesia, about japan
(which i'll be going in 4 days' time),
about WWII and awhole bunch of stuff...
It's always so enriching to talk to an elder.
they've got this wealth of knowledge and experience..
she's my encyclopedia... personified!
Through her, i learnt the frailty of life and to always count my blessings.
That was my lesson for today. :)
